Act for the Disappeared & UMAM Documentation & Research

ACT and UMAM produced a two-minute video launched on social media to present the regional MENA Mapping, including a zoom in on the memory sites in Lebanon and calling for action. The video then presents the projects behind these sites and the urgent need to continue the documentation.

The video was widely shared on social media and with partner organizations. It reached a wide range of organizations working on issues related to dealing with the past, via the Forum for Memory and Future (FMF), a coalition of organizations and individuals focusing on issues related to dealing with the past in Lebanon. The work was also presented to groups of young people during a round table on the role of youth in building a better future in Lebanon.
